Trainer P. Smith was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting RETURN TO ME to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently RETURN TO ME was a late scratching from Race 1.

Race 2 - ANGLISS MEATS NOVICE 380m

1 Party's Party – Bumped another runner in the back straight, shifted out across heels to race wide approaching the turn out of the back straight.

3 Stitches – Bumped by another runner and became unbalanced in the back straight.

4 Mali's Cookie – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

8 Starlight Belle – Very slow to begin.

5 Misunderstood – Slow to begin.  Bumped and checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Reign Hail Shine – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Bogie Bandit – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Raced wide in the back straight.

9 Rumble Ghost (7) – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 9 - WEE WIN KENNELS FFA 498m

2 Excuse Me Jack - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

7 Midnight Frankie – Tightened for racing room prior to entering the back straight.

Race 10 - PREMIUM GLASS FENCING GRADE 4 380m

The start of the race was delayed 1.30 minutes for the veterinary surgeon to check Muriel Tarantino.  Acting on veterinary advice Muriel Tarantino was a late scratching at 21.47.

1 Canya Whisper – Marginally slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Muriel Tarantino - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was found to have diarrhoea and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

5 Blackpool Coco – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

6 Mickey Two Rums – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 11 - MPL REFRIGERATION GRADE 5 (2) 380m

1 Mali's Pass – Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

3 Broccolini Pete – Bumped another runner entering the front straight.

6 Night Like This – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

7 Secret Shades – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

9 Cornholio (5) – Bumped another runner entering the front straight.

Race 12 - BELFORD KENNELS GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 On A High – Slow to begin.

2 Above Ability – Bumped and checked off another runner in the back straight.

3 Joda – Bumped and checked off another runner in the back straight.  Tailed off to finish last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

4 Supido – Bumped and checked off another runner in the back straight.
