General:

Trainer S. Atkinson was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting CANYA GO WILD to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently CANYA GO WILD  was a late scratching from Race 7.

Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 380m

5 Patty's Regret – Bumped by another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

6 Black Wiggle – Bumped by another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

7 Finch's Finch – Jumped awkwardly and bumped another runner as the start was affected.

8 Junior's Junior – Shifted in approaching the turn out of the back straight bumping another runner.

Race 2 - BELFORD KENNELS NOVICE 380m

2 Paw To Floor – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Waetea – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the front straight.

6 Joseph Bardy – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 3 - HAROLD & DESMA HOVI 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

3 La La Jersey – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

5 Flat Tyre – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Georgio Bale – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Zulu Ruby – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 4 - JUST PERFECT KITCHENS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

3 Mr. Singha – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

4 Scarify – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

6 Squamish – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner in the front straight.

7 Joda – Checked by another runner shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner losing ground sharply on the turn out of the back straight failing to finish the race.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a fracture to the off hind talus and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Race 5 – KEYFLO GRADE 5 643m

2 Hara's Bonnie – Checked off heels in the front straight on the second occasion.

3 Plain And Simple – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the front straight.

6 What A Warrior – Slow to begin.

Race 6 - ORGANIC SOLUTIONS GRADE 5 (1) 498m

1 Awesome Alex – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

2 Prince Of Lygon – tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.

4 Orya Bale – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.

7 No Regrets – Slow to begin.

Race 7 - #JCOOLAIRCONDITIONING FFA 498m

4 Zipping Coby – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

6 Still Tough – Lost ground in the front straight appearing injured.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a fracture to the off hind metatarsal and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Race 8 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION GRADE 4 380m

1 Happy Rumble – Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Velocity Caligo – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Forced wide by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

3 Osmonds Wish – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Above Ability – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Diesel Dust – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

7 Chance Your Arm – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

Race 9 - BURDEKIN VET CLINIC GRADE 5 (2) 498m

3 Mason Rocks – Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight. Raced wide in the back straight and wide in the front straight.

5 Copper Canyon – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Raced wide in the back straight.

6 Cryptic Diamond – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

7 Rumble Ghost – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the back straight.

Race 10 - MILLENIUM STAR RACING BEST 8 380m

2 Diva Valentine – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

3 What A Bomber – Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Lost In Lantana – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Jungle Fever – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Bumped another runner, became unbalanced, checked across heels and bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

7 Urana Shelby – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 Winter Ghost – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped by another runner and fell on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a laceration to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 11 - LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOOD 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

1 Margaret – Slow to begin.

4 Xericom Bale – Checked off heels on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Swift Sharni – Slow to begin.  Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.
