7 Bundy Run – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 Fig Leaf – Checked from behind by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

Race 2 - SMITHY'S LOCAL CONVENIENCE NOVICE 380m

2 Rival Simmo – Bumped and checked off another runner in the back straight.

4 Waetea – Bumped by another runner in the back straight.  Contacted the running rail on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off heels on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a strain to the near elbow and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

5 Impatient Sue – Checked from behind and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a strain to the off hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

7 Hidden Places – Slow to begin.

1 Old Station Star – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Mali's Rocket – Raced wide into the front straight.

1 Mason Rocks – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

5 Villa Lucky – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight.
