Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 380m

The boxes failed to open on the first occasion.  All starters were removed and checked by the veterinarian and passed fit to start.  A manual start was affected on the second occasion.

1 Wolf Hall – Slow to begin.

2 Petite Gingin – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Return To Me – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

7 Junior's Junior – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

9 Leaping Larry (8) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

The fault with the boxes was rectified and all systems operating normally.

Race 2 - INGHAM ROAD SEAFOOD NOVICE 380m

1 Dotti Girl – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Henryk Bale – Shifted out and bumped another runner in the back straight.

9 Joseph Bardy (6) – Slow to begin.  Bumped and checked by another runner in the back straight.

Race 3 - WOOLER RACING MIXED 3/4 380m

1 Muriel Tarantino – Tightened for racing room on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Velocity Caligo – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

7 Chance Your Arm – Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight, lost ground sharply appearing injured and failed to finish the race.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the back muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 4 - ANNIVERSARY CUP HEAT 1 MIXED 4/5 498m

3 Cryptic Diamond – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

4 Captain Turbot – Marginally slow to begin.  Checked from behind by another runner on the turn into the back straight.

7 Plain And Simple – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

Race 5 - CHRISTMAS CUP HEAT 1 OPEN 380m

3 Winter Ghost – Tightened for racing room on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Urana Shelby – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Mali's Gonzales – Checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Miss Rascal – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 6 - CHRISTMAS CUP HEAT 2 OPEN 380m

1 Ballistic Bullet – Lost ground in the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the groin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

3 Fancy Pants – Lost ground in the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

9 Black Wiggle (8) – Very slow to begin.

Race 7 - CHRISTMAS CUP HEAT 3 OPEN 380m

1 Big Pikachu – Bumped and checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

2 Lost In Lantana – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

3 Samshu – Bumped and checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

7 Emma Moo Moo – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Dream Dancer – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 8 - TOWNSVILLE YOUNG GUNS FINAL OPEN 380m

1 Happy Rumble – Slow to begin.  Checked off a fallen runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a compound fracture to the left hind leg. The greyhound was humanely euthanised by the on course veterinarian.

2 Above Ability – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Following the completion of the event, ABOVE ABILITY contacted the catching pen gate and was pronounced deceased by the veterinary surgeon on examination in the catching pen.

4 Velocity Nora – Bumped and checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the left hind toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

5 Jackson Rumble- Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Endless Ability – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the left hind muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

7 Balts Agenda – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Rum And Hustle – Bumped and checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 9 - ANNIVERSARY CUP HEAT 2 MIXED 4/5 498m

1 Swift Sharni – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight.

2 Redemption Day – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner entering the back straight.

3 Squamish – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

6 Burning Up – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

8 Prince Of Lygon – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

1 Zone In – Checked by another runner in the back straight.

2 Stitches – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner entering the back straight.  Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Bumped and checked off another runner entering the front straight.

2 Cornholio – Bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.
