Race 1 - SMITHY'S LOCAL CONVENIENCE MAIDEN 380m

 

1 In The Cards – Slow to being.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

2 Miss Ida – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

 

3 Zulu Vixen – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

6 Polar Bear Lee – Was difficult to box delaying the start of the race.  Polar Bear Lee will be boxed first in future races until Stewards are satisfied that the greyhound can be boxed satisfactorily.

 

7 Semiyon – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Stressful Nut – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner in the turn into the front straight.

 

 

Race 2 - BURDEKIN VET CLINIC NOVICE 380m

 

1 Run Over Freddy – Slow to begin.  Checked from behind by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

 

4 Dennis Denuto – Improved on to heels on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 3 – TGBOT MA5 380m

 

1 Super Hard – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

2 Crackerjack Joey – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Salaam – Slow into stride as the start was affected.

 

 

Race 4 - #JCOOL AIRCONDITIONING GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

4 Blinding Lights – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

 

5 Sirritto – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

 

6 Return To Me – Check off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 5 - JUDY OLSEN GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

4 Jimmy Corkhill – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

 

5 Jilliby Tina – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

6 Velocity Larni – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Winter Ghost – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

8 Masters On Metro – Checked by another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

 

Race 9 - PARKER RACING KENNELS GRADE 5 (3) 380m

 

3 Cha Cha Again – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

 

4 Iron Lad – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

5 Sunset Bardot – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

 

6 Detention – Checked by another runner after turning out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 10 – TAB GRADE 5 (4) 380m

 

5 Burning Up – Lost ground sharply in the back straight appearing injured.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near front toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
