2 Stressful Hope – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Sayaka – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

6 Saruman – tightened for racing room in the back straight.

8 Joseph Rumble – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - LOVESY & WAWA MIXED 4/5 498m

2 Henryk Bale – Slow to begin.

3 Battle – Knuckled over losing ground prior to entering the back straight. Appeared injured and tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off-hind hamstring muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

7 Inconsequential – raced wide in the back straight.

Race 3 - TOWNSVILLE YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 OPEN 498m

3 Rumble Rose – Checked off another runner prior to entering the back straight.

4 Gordon – Tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner prior to entering the back straight.

Race 4 - TOWNSVILLE YOUNG GUNS HEAT 2 OPEN 498m

2 Velocity Nora – Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner prior to entering the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

7 Fancy Kelly – Bumped another runner on the turn into the back straight.

Race 5 - TOWNSVILLE PET TAXI MIXED 4/5 380m

1 Astor – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Cornholio – Bumped another runner in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. 

5 More Sensation – Bumped another runner in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

6 Sunset Bardot – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Aston Cash – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 6 - MCP RACING GRADE 4 380m

2 Captain Turbot – Slow to begin.

3 Lost In Lantana – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Raced wide in the front straight.

4 Urana Shelby – Slow to begin.

5 Jackie Chiles – Tightened for racing room in the back straight and fell.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

6 La La Jersey – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

7 Young Rob – raced wide in the front straight.

Race 7 - WILLIAM THOMAS GRADE 5 498m

5 My Envy – Slow to begin.  Raced wide in the back straight.

6 At The Office – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

7 Swift Sharni – Raced wide in the back straight.

8 Hickory Pandora – Slow to begin.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound, in particular the turn into the back straight.  Subsequently after viewing the film and speaking with the trainer, Hickory Pandora was stood down from racing, under the provisions of GAR 69A, for a period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trail for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

Race 8 - MPL REFRIGERATION BEST 8 380m

2 Dream Dancer – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

4 Awesome Alex – tightened for racing room approaching the turn out of the back straight.

Race 9 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING GRADE 5 (1) 380m

1 Carrow Road – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Mighty Option – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Cryptic Diamond – Slow to begin.

6 Positive Gearing – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Tailed off to finish last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8 Jilliby Tina – Slow into stride as the start was affected.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 10 - BURDEKIN VET CLINIC GRADE 5 (2) 380m

2 Sirritto – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

3 Paw Baby – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide in the front straight.

6 Cha Cha Again – Raced wide in the front straight.

7 Mr. Singha – Raced wide in the front straight.

Race 11 - MATTHEW ASHELFORD GRADE 5 (3) 380m

2 Dotti Girl – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Riptide Buddy – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

9 (7) Blinding Lights – Lost ground sharply in the back straight and tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind hamstring muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Trainer advised that it was his intention to retire the greyhound.
