General: Following the running of Race 1, an electrical fire was detected in the kennel block. After the evacuation of all humans and greyhounds, races 2-10 were abandoned.

Race 1 - SMITHY'S LOCAL CONVENIENCE MAIDEN 380m

3 Karaoke Queen – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Zulu Vixen – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

5 Mali's Mortgage – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Joni Rudderless – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.
