Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 380m
2 Stressful Nut – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.
5 Mystical Zeal – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
8 Let's Get Rowdy – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Visibly eased and turned its head inwards towards the runner on the inside in the home straight, taking his attention away from the lure. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Tony Parker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Subsequently, Stewards charged Let’s Get Rowdy under the provisions of GAR69A for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (1^st offence). The greyhound was stood down from racing for 28 days at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
Race 2 - LOVESY & WAWA NOVICE 380m
1 Semiyon – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
4 Sixty Dollars – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn. Bumped several times with another runner leaving the first turn.
8 Mali's Thylacine – Slow to begin. Bumped several times with another runner leaving the first turn.
Race 3 - NQ MARINA FRESH SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (1) 380m
1 Percy's Princess – Tightened for racing room approaching the home turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
3 Time To Roll – Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the offside pectoral muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days. A post-race swab sample was taken for analysis.
5 Our Dreamer – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Raced wide through the home turn.
Race 4 - CIGNALL GARBUTT MIXED 4/5 380m
2 Flat Tyre – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
4 Velocity Tori – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
6 Daisy Moments – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing considerable ground.
Race 5 - MATTHEW ASHELFORD GRADE 5 (1) 498m
4 Saruman – Checked across the heels of another runner leaving the first turn.
6 Sunset Bardot – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
8 Double Tiara – Slow to begin.
Race 6 - LACHLAN ALBION GRADE 5 (2) 498m
4 Orya Bale – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start and became momentarily unbalanced.
7 Cryptic Diamond – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked across the heels of another runner at the top of the home straight.
Race 7 - JEFF LYNCH FFA 498m
1 On A High – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
2 Henryk Bale – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.
3 Fancy Kelly – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.
Race 8 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION 3/4 GRADE FINAL MIXED 3/4 380m
2 Paulie Walnuts – Dragged down from behind by another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
3 Blackpool Coco – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground.
7 Captain Turbot – Slow to begin.
8 More Sensation – Inconvenienced by another runner rounding the first turn and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
Race 9 - PARKER RACING KENNELS MIXED 3/4 380m
1 Lost In Lantana – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing ground.
2 Seat's Taken – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.
7 Endless Ability – Dragged down from behind rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
8 Jay Jay Kersey – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn. Visibly eased approaching the winning post. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Michael Pandelakis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Subsequently, Stewards charged Jay Jay Kersey under the provisions of GAR69A for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (2^nd offence). The greyhound was stood down from racing for 3 months and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
Race 10 - BELFORD KENNELS GRADE 5 (2) 380m
2 Salaam – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked.
5 Zone In – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
6 Bonnie Goes Bang – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
9 Zulu Ruby (7) – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.
Race 11 – TAB GRADE 5 (3) 380m
3 Roadbase Rebel – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.
4 Mack's Payne – Clipped on the heels by another runner shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.
8 Scarify – Slow to begin.
