5 Mystical Zeal – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. |

8 Let's Get Rowdy – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Visibly eased and turned its head inwards towards the runner on the inside in the home straight, taking his attention away from the lure. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Tony Parker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Subsequently, Stewards charged Let’s Get Rowdy under the provisions of GAR69A for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (1st offence). The greyhound was stood down from racing for 28 days at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. |
