General: The track was harrowed to a depth of 60mm yesterday. As a result, race times may be slower today.

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 380m

1 Sonic Blue – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Miss Alira – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.

3 Rosie Brae – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Leaping Larry – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

6 Barry Cool – Forced to race wide through the first turn.

7 Wine Drinker – Very slow to begin.

8 Galileo Brae – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - BURDEKIN VET CLINIC NOVICE (1) 380m

2 Pistols At Dawn – Marginally slow to begin.

3 Zulu Jack – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

5 Mali's Thylacine – Slow to begin.

6 Piazza Minerva – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the near hind gluteal muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

7 Piazza Farnese – Checked off the heels of another runner and forced to race wide through the first turn.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off fore toe and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 3 - TGBOT NOVICE (2) 380m

2 Urana Lot – Checked across heels and shifted in rounding the home turn. Turned its head outwards for several strides in the home straight deviating its attention away from the lure. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Mark Partland regarding her racing manners in the home straight. After reviewing the video footage Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR124(1) charged Urana Lot with Failing to Pursue (1^st offence) and was stood down from racing for 28 days at Townsville plus the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

3 Jazz Along – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Sixty Dollars – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

6 Be Kind Rewind – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Wild Rumour – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 4 - #JCOOL AIRCONDITIONING GRADE 5 (1) 380m

1 Seat's Taken – Slow to begin.

3 Dream Dancer – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

5 Mali's Bullet – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Just Too Fancy – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

Race 5 - JUDY OLSEN 0-4 WINS 498m

4 Piazza Rotonda – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

7 My Envy – Very slow to begin.

9 Just Don't Smoke (3) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 - NOT BUSY KENNEL 1-3 WINS FINAL 1-3 WINS 380m

1 Orson Black – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground.

2 Whiskey Diva – Marginally slow to begin.

4 Starlight Belle – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Aston Mateo – Raced wide through the home turn.

Race 7 - PING THE LIDS RACING MIXED 3/4 380m

4 More Sensation – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing considerable ground.

5 Lagoon Samuel – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

6 Cornholio – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

Race 8 - LET'S GO RACING MIXED 1/2 380m

5 First Black Jack – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 See Me Balt – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.

8 Young Rob – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the reminder of the race.

Race 9 - PARKER RACING KENNELS GRADE 5 (2) 380m

1 Fat Jack – Fell in the catching pen when pulling up from the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Glen Gavan – Slow to begin.

6 Good Boy Lloyd – Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Bye Clown Town – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Bone Collector – Raced wide through the home turn.

Race 10 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Annabelle Rocks – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed lacerations to both hind legs and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

2 One Job – Slow to begin. Held up for clear racing room approaching the first turn.

3 Winlock Punky – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground.

4 Showtime Joe – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground.

5 La La Jersey – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Ryan's Pick – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

Race 11 - TAB GRADE 5 (4) 380m

6 Trixie Rigatoni – Slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.

7 Midnight Zeal – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

9 Zarr Oso (3) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.
