Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN (1) 380m
1 Shrimp Boat – Improved onto the heels of another runner shortly after the start and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
2 Hidden Radar – Clipped on the heels by another runner shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked losing ground.
4 Blazing Infrared – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off fore triceps muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
6 Joni Rudderless – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground.
8 Showtime Smiley – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.
Race 2 - LOVESY & WAWA MAIDEN (2) 380m
4 Arokin's Web – When questioned about the apparent improved performance from her first race start, trainer Ms Joan Newnham stated that Arokin’s Web was having her second race start tonight and first start for her kennel. Ms Newnham stated that she believes the change of environment along with a much bigger track might have contributed to the improved racing performance. She also stated that the greyhound jumped well tonight compared to her first start. Stewards noted the explanation.
5 Barry Cool – Held up for clear racing room approaching the first turn and lost forward momentum.
6 Shane's Pick – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
7 Showtime Heather – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
8 Crab Boat – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
Race 3 - NQ MARINA FRESH SEAFOOD NOVICE (1) 380m
1 Big Bad Bruce – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground. Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.
4 Piazza Farnese – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked losing ground.
5 Tokin Beach – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
7 Puffin Bluey – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced.
8 Calm Sea – Slow to begin. Forced to race wide rounding the first turn. Raced wide through the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
Race 4 - CIGNALL GARBUTT NOVICE (2) 380m
1 Santa Maria – Inconvenienced and raced in restricted racing room rounding the first turn losing forward momentum.
2 Big Ram – Severely checked and raced wide rounding the first turn when avoiding the fallen runner losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
3 Jamie Tartt – Slow to begin.
4 Dressed To Kill – Clipped the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
5 Sixty Dollars – Severely checked and raced wide rounding the first turn when avoiding the fallen runner losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
8 Potato Cake – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

1 Dream Dancer – Slow to begin.
3 Paw Baby – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight.

8 Winter Ghost – Checked off the heels of another runner and raced wide through the first turn. Raced wide in the home straight.

3 Patty's Regret – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
4 Tail's Up – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
5 Run Over Freddy – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
6 Amarillo Slim – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Raced wide in the back straight.
8 At The Office – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.
Race 7 - JEFF LYNCH BEST 8 380m
3 What A Bomber – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed mild exhaustion. No stand down time was given. Trainer Mr Arthur Gosper notified Stewards that he intends to spell What A Bomber after tonight’s run.
5 Kiah Beach – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.
8 Jackson Rumble – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.
Race 8 - TOWNSVILLE FUTURITY FINAL OPEN 498m
2 Annabelle Rocks – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Clipped the heels of another runner and fell when pulling up after race had concluded. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
4 Flash Fever – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground.
5 Limitless Speed – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground. Dragged down by another runner approaching the home turn.

7 Whiskey Diva – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
