Race Meeting Stewards’ Report

General: Stewards delayed All Clear of race 7 to review the video footage of the race, in particular the lure position in the back straight. After reviewing the video footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards under the provisions of GAR109(3) declared Race 7 a No Race due to the position of the lure in the back straight being too close to the leading greyhounds causing several to change stride and ease. Stewards deemed that the lure position influenced the outcome of the race and therefore abandoned the event under the provisions of GAR110(1) with all monies invested on the race refunded.

Race 1 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE MAIDEN (1) 380m

2 Shian Freddy – Slow to begin.

3 Calibration – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

4 Barry Cool – Bumped by another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Londonderry Lady – Shifted out and bumped with another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN (2) 380m

1 Scallop Boat – Slow to begin. Forced to race wide rounding the first turn. Bumped several times with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

2 Wally's Boy – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

3 Hidden Radar – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Improved onto the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and was checked losing ground.

4 Hidden Fury – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn.

8 Kay Sherar – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

9 Crab Boat (5) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped several times with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 3 - TAB NOVICE (1) 380m

2 Tokin Beach – Slow to begin.

7 Fortune Of War – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Gunnadoo Avenue – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 4 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING NOVICE (2) 380m

1 Teragram's Star – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Seaton Key – Marginally slow to begin.

3 Illegal Tender – Marginally slow to begin.

5 Princess Waters – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

6 Sonic Blue – Clipped on the heels by another runner leaving the first turn and was checked.

8 Shiro Kuma – Raced wide through the first turn.

Race 5 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING MIXED 3/4 498m

3 Stressful Hope – Slow to begin.

6 Amarillo Slim – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Fulton – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Paw Baby – Marginally slow to begin.

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE GRADE 4 380m

1 Out Of Glory – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

3 Showtime Joe – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Iron Lad – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

5 Trixie Rigatoni – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

7 Aston Rupiah – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

Race 7 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING BEST 8 380m

Stewards delayed All Clear of race 7 to review the video footage of the race, in particular the lure position in the back straight. 2 Piazza Farnese – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

3 Showtime Ella – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

5 Balts Orson – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Prince Of Lygon – Tightened for racing room leaving the first turn and was checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - BELFORD KENNELS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

1 Stressful Nut – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

2 Wild Rumour – Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn.

4 Urana Lot – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

7 Cyclone Jenny – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

9 Sunset Bardot (8) – Forced to race wide through the home turn.

Race 10 - BELFORD KENNELS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

1 Renegade Warrior – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the finishing line.

6 Fat Jack – Forced to race wide rounding the first turn.

7 Potato Cake – Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

8 Pistols At Dawn – Bumped by another runner rounding the first turn and lost forward momentum.

Race 11 - ROBERT OLSEN 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

3 Lusty Lovin' – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

4 Sleek Rumble – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Tightened for racing room approaching the home turn and was checked losing ground.

6 Flat Tyre – Raced wide in the home straight.

7 Big Jim Buzz – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

8 Canya Moonshine – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Improved onto the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and was checked.

1 Ramsay's Rocket – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

4 Showtime Smiley – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

5 Waking Smile – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.
