General:

Trainer M. Hickmott was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 101.3.b for presenting Gunnadoo Avenue to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing. Subsequently Gunnadoo Avenue was a late scratching from Race 11.

Race 1 - SKIPS TRANSPORT MAIDEN (1) 380m

1 Calibration – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Shian Freddy – Slow to begin.

4 Barry Cool – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Shifted out across heels in the front straight.

5 Isa Belle – Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

8 Scallop Boat – Jumped awkwardly losing ground as the start was affected.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 2 - HUNNY POT NQ MAIDEN (2) 380m

1 Crab Boat – Slow to begin.

2 Gem's Best – Slow to begin.  Shifted out and checked across heels to race wide on the turn into the front straight.

3 Remedy – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight and tailed off to finish last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

9 Wahroonga Girl (7) – Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.

Race 3 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE NOVICE 380m

4 Hidden Radar – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

5 Showtime Hannah – Slow to begin.

7 Spot On Thyra – Slow to begin.  Lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Subsequently Stewards stood Spot On Thyra down from racing under the provisions of GAR 129 until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a unsatisfactory performance.

9 Hara's Bones (1) – Slow to begin.

10 Piazza Minerva (6) – Raced wide into the front straight.

Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

1 Lock Cracker – Tightened for racing room and fell on the turn into the front straight.  Shifted out after the start bumping other runners.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 Tarantula – Bumped another runner in the back straight.

3 Seaton Key – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Bumped by another runner in the back straight.  Bumped on several occasions in the back straight by another runner.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

5 Showtime Bruce – Checked across heels on the turn into the front straight.

8 Dennis Denuto – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

9 Stressful Nut (4) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

Race 5 - TAB MIXED 3/4 380m

3 Samshu – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Sleek Rumble – Bumped another runner in the back straight.  Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

6 Memory Lane – Bumped another runner in the back straight.

Race 6 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING BEST 8 380m

1 Miss Priddle – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 Daisy Moments – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

4 Tail's Up – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Rum And Hustle – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 See Me Balt – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 7 - WEE WIN KENNELS GRADE 5 498m

5 Big Jim Buzz – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Saint Bluey – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 8 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE FFA 498m

The leading greyhound made contact with the lure on the turn into the back straight.  Subsequently Stewards declared the race a NO RACE and all investments on the race be refunded.

2 Young Rob - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

5 Stratford - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the right hind hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 9 - ETHAN MALONEY GRADE 4 380m

Stewards reviewed the film of the race in relation to the positioning of the lure approaching the turn out of the back straight.  After viewing the film Steward were of the opinion that the closeness of the lure to the leading greyhounds had a adverse effect which may have contributed to the placings in the race.  Subsequently a NO RACE was declared and all investments on the race be refunded.

4 Iron Lad - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the right hind muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 10 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

The start of the race was delayed from 9.22pm to 10.04pm to ensure the lure problems could be addressed.

5 Jebrynah Astra – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

6 Mary Now Knows – Slow to begin.

7 Red Card Bob - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8 Midnight Image – Checked from behind by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 11 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

6 Danyo's Clint – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

7 Illegal Tender – Checked off another runner and bumped another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Potato Cake – Bumped and checked by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 12 - D & J RACING 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 380m

3 Seat's Taken – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

4 Showtime Fergus – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped and checked off another runner entering the front straight.

6 Captain Turbot – checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

7 Articuno – Checked by another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Bumped another runner entering the front straight.
