Race 1 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA PRODUCTION MAIDEN 380m

1 Secret Hustle – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

2 Crayfish – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced. Checked across the heels of another runner in the home straight.

3 Remedy – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

9 Young Yank (5) – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

10 Crab Boat (8) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 2 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE NOVICE 380m

2 I'm A Dancer – Shifted out and raced wide rounding the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

3 Isa Belle – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

5 Shian Freddy – Slow to begin. Turned its head inwards several times towards the runner on the inside in the home straight deviating his attention away from the lure. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Greg Pickard regarding Shian Freddy’s racing manners in the home straight. After reviewing the video footage of the race, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR124(1) charged Shian Freddy with Failing to Pursue the lure (1^st offence) and was stood down from racing at Townsville for 28 days plus the completion of a satisfactory trial.

6 Spike The Punch – Slow to begin. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn. Inconvenienced by another runner in the concluding stages of the race.

7 Shane's Pick – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Annie's Princess – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

Race 3 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MA5 380m 

1 Canya Moonshine – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Danyo's Clint – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

6 Good Boy Lloyd – Raced wide in the home straight.

Race 4 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING MIXED 4/5 380m

1 Hidden Fury – Slow to begin.

4 Blackpool Rex – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner several times approaching the home turn.

5 Dennis Denuto – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Never Cry – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner several times approaching the home turn.

8 Dynamism – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Piazza Farnese – Raced wide rounding the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

4 Piazza Minerva – Slow to begin.

6 Barry Cool – Slow to begin.

7 Bogie Millie – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE MIXED 4/5 498m

1 Inconsequential – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

3 Saint Bluey – Very slow to begin.

4 More Sensation – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.

6 Amarillo Slim – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

7 Balts Orson – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Balts Assassin – Bumped by another runner and forced to race wide rounding the first turn.

Race 7 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING GRADE 4 380m

3 Big Jim Buzz – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

4 Wild Rumour – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

5 Canya Beth – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

4 Whiskey Diva – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

3 Showtime Gus – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.
