General: Prior to the running of Race 11, Stewards and the Track Curator inspected the track. After determining that a section of the track including the turn off the back straight was firm, Stewards opted to delay Race 11 so that water could be applied to the track. A five minute delay was issued with the new starting time for Race 11 being 2:38pm.

Race 1 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE MAIDEN 380m

1 Boots On – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn.

3 Starlight Spice – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Feisty Frank – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Ritza Pete – Marginally slow to begin. Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn. Checked off heels and bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

9 Ritza Benny (7) – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 2 - HUNNY POT NQ NOVICE 380m

1 Winter Skye – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the second turn.

4 Karaoke Queen – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Miss Von Strudel – Checked off the heels of another runner in the home straight.

7 Showtime Hannah - Clipped on the heels by another runner in the home straight.

8 My Mate Nev – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and was checked.

Race 3 - CLEVELAND BAY SEAFOOD MA5 380m

1 Freeney – Checked by another runner rounding the first turn becoming unbalanced and falling. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Astor – Marginally slow to begin. Checked by the fallen runner.

3 Danyo's Clint – Marginally slow to begin. Severely checked by the fallen runner. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Aston Mireya – Shifted in rounding the first turn and checked another runner.

8 No Regrets – Marginally slow to begin. Inconvenienced by the fallen runner.

Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 380m

1 Saruman – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked.

2 Remedy – Checked off another runner approaching the first turn.

4 National Swirl – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

5 Lusty Lovin' – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

Race 5 - TAB MIXED 4/5 380m

2 Tarantula – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.  

3 Limitless Speed – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

4 Good Boy Lloyd – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

5 Jax The Hunter – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start

7 Juliette Keats - Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 6 - #JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING MIXED 3/4 380m

1 Fat Jack – Tightened for racing room and was checked rounding the first turn. Crossed and checked another runner rounding the home turn.

2 Rev Up Zeus – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Out Of Glory – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked. Was crossed and checked by another runner rounding the home turn.

4 Seaton Key – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

5 New To Me – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn. Dragged down by another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Instant Gold – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn

Race 7 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA SERVICES 0-3 WINS 498m

3 Tap Out Mickey – Slow to begin. Shortened stride immediately after the start. Took no competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hindleg and subsequently was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

4 Calibration – Tightened for racing room and was checked shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner rounding the second turn.

5 Fully Blessed – Checked off another runner shortly after the start.

7 Galileo Brae – Raced wide throughout the back straight.

8 Caramel Queen – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner rounding the second turn.

Race 8 - TGBOTA MIXED 4/5 498m

1 Shiro Kuma – Checked off another runner and lost ground in the back straight.

3 Inconsequential – Tightened for racing room and was checked in the back straight.

6 Teddy Box – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off another runner shortly after the start becoming momentarily unbalanced.

7 Iron Lad – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Hidden Radar – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 9 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m

1 Flat Tyre – Raced wide throughout the front straight.

3 Shian Quinn – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn.

4 Joni Rudderless – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

6 Glen Gavan – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground sharply, appearing to have sustained an injury. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the nearside hock and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 28 days. Pain relief was administered and a RJ bandage was applied by the veterinarian. Trainer Mr J. Reid was advised that Glen Gavan must trial prior to any future nomination. Glen Gavan will be taken to Burdekin Veterinary Services for further treatment and monitoring. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.

Race 10 - HICKORY INDUSTRIES PATHWAYS HEAT 2 5PW 380m

1 Piazza Farnese – Marginally slow to begin.

4 Stressful Day – Tightened for racing room and was checked rounding the first turn.

5 Mulga Bill – Bumped with another runner on the home straight becoming momentarily unbalanced. Raced wide rounding the home turn and throughout the home straight.

6 Cornholio – Bumped with another runner on the home straight.

7 Jebrynah Astra – While rounding the first turn lost ground sharply and shortened in stride, appearing to have sustained an injury. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside hock and was subsequently stood down from racing for a period of 28 days. Pain relief was administered and a RJ bandage was applied by the veterinarian. Trainer Ms B. Chaffey was advised that Jebrynah Astra must trial prior to any future nomination. Jebrynah Astra will be taken to Burdekin Veterinary Services for further treatment and monitoring. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.

Race 11 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 380m

2 Jack's Rose – Knuckled over at the start. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Amarillo Slim – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Aston Mateo – Raced wide in the home turn and throughout the home straight.
