Race 1 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA SERVICES MAIDEN (1) 380m

 

1 Ritza Benny – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

 

4 Gordon – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Contacted the running rail rounding the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

5 Mercurial Dancer – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn.

 

6 Crackin' Ethics – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

 

7 Formula Ebby – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

 

Race 2 - SKIPS TRANSPORT MAIDEN (2) 380m

 

2 That's Hectic – Dragged down by another runner leaving the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

4 Mulgrave Miller – Improved onto the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and was checked.

 

5 Sunshine Girl – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

 

6 Feisty Frank – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

 

Race 3 - HUNNY POT NQ NOVICE 380m

 

2 Windale Magician – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

 

6 Here's Howie – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 Clown Of Class – Very slow to begin. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

 

Race 4 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE MIXED 4/5 380m

 

1 Midnight Image – Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight.

 

3 Good Boy Lloyd – Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight.

 

6 Spike The Punch – Went up with the lids at the start and was slow to begin.

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 1-3 WINS HEAT 1 1-3 WINS 380m

 

1 Conor Pass – Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

 

2 She's Our Cruze – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

 

3 Bobbie Jean – Slow to begin. Held up for clear racing room rounding the first turn.

 

Race 6 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING 1-3 WINS HEAT 2 1-3 WINS 380m

 

2 Baguette – Slow to begin.

 

7 Showtime Bobby – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

Race 7 - WEE WIN KENNELS 1-3 WINS HEAT 3 1-3 WINS 380m

 

1 Piazza Farnese – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

 

4 Stressful Day – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

 

5 Shian Quinn – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

8 Calibration – Slow to begin.

 

Race 8 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE GRADE 5 380m

 

2 Aston Rupiah – Took several awkward strides at box rise and was slow to begin.

 

3 Amarillo Slim – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

 

4 Astor – Bumped by another runner rounding the home turn.

 

6 Instant Gold – Slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked. Shifted out and bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

 

Race 9 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING MIXED 3/4 380m

 

1 Lusty Lovin' – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Checked across the heels of another runner in the home straight.

 

5 Starlight Belle – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

 

7 Blazing Infrared – Slow to begin.

 

Race 10 - D & J RACING 5PW 380m

 

2 Ponte Santangelo – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

 

4 Winlock Punky – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

 

6 Counter Advance – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

 

7 Mulga Bill – Faltered in its action approaching the first turn when appeared to have sustained an injury taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off-hind leg and was stood down from racing for 28 days. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing again. Mulga Bill was transported to Burdekin Veterinary Services for further assessment. Trainer Mr Chris Scifleet advised Stewards that Mulga Bill will be retired after today’s race. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.
