Race 1 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING MAIDEN 380m

1 Mario – Very slow to begin. Finished the race tailed off last. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Graham Thomson regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Thomson stated that Mario was having his first race start and would derive benefit from tonight’s first run in a full field. Stewards noted the explanation.

2 Chinotto Girl – Raced wide rounding the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

5 Ava Supreme – Slow to begin.

6 Federal Target – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

7 Hard To Style – Raced wide in the home straight.

8 Crackin' Ethics – Tightened for racing room leaving the first turn and was checked losing ground.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE 380m

1 My Mate Nev – Faltered in stride in the concluding stages of the race when appeared to have sustained an injury. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the nearside hock and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Trainer’s representative Mr Tony Parker was advised that My Mate Nev must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing again. My Mate Nev was transported to Burdekin Veterinary Services tonight for further assessment and treatment. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.

2 Windale Magician – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Smiling Walnut – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.

6 Yellow Car – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

7 Boots On – Slow to begin.

8 Hidden Torpedo – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

9 Hara's Houdini (5) – Forced to race wide rounding the home turn.

Race 3 - TAB MIXED 3/4 380m

1 Petite Gingin – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

2 Good Odds Rascal – Slow to begin.

3 Midnight Image – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Sugar Hit Lenny – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

6 Daisy Moments – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Balts Obsession – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 4 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING GRADE 5 (1) 498m

1 Conor Pass – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

2 Special Thunder – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

3 Run Over Freddy – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

8 Saruman – Proved difficult to load at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR106(2) put a Boxed First on Saruman until Stewards are comfortably satisfied that the greyhound is no longer difficult to box. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground.

Race 5 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING GRADE 5 (2) 498m

1 Mary Now Knows – Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground.

2 Tannymorel Lass – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Austin Dutton – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

8 Eyes On Meg – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE FFA 498m

2 Golden Rule – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Balts Orson – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 7 - SKIPS TRANSPORT BEST 8 380m

2 Free At Night – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground.

5 Miss Priddle – Slow to begin.

7 Ringbark Rita – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

8 Fancy Kelly – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 8 - QGOLD OPEN FINAL OPEN 498m

1 Narkunda – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Clipped on the heels by another runner in the back straight. Raced wide in the home straight.

3 Samurai Mind – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped several times with another runner in the back straight.

4 Caramel Queen – Slow to begin. Bumped several times with another runner in the back straight.

6 Kiah Beach – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

9 Flash Fever (5) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 9 - HUNNY POT NQ GRADE 4 380m

1 Drop Anchor – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

2 Ladies Get Grace – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Pretty Cindy – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and lost ground.

6 Wild Rumour – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and lost ground.

7 Tail's Up – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 10 - LOUNDS SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (1) 380m

1 Young Yank – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

2 Where's The Ship – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

6 Blazing Infrared – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

7 Aston General – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

9 Showtime Ella (5) – Raced wide in the home straight.

10 Tackleberry (8) – Slow to begin.

1 Never Cry – Dragged down from behind by another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

2 Is That You – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Skedaddle Tommy – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 National Swirl – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

7 Good Boy Lloyd – Checked off the heels of another runner and forced to race wide rounding the first turn.
