Race 1 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE MAIDEN 380m

1 Deck Franky – Shifted out and had its heels clipped rounding the home turn becoming momentarily unbalanced, losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Rhonda Essery regarding Deck Franky’s racing manners rounding the home turn. Upon reviewing the video footage, Stewards and trainer Ms Essery agreed that her runner had shifted to the outside rounding the home turn and in doing so had its heels contacted resulting in Deck Franky being off balance for several strides and turned sideways. After reviewing the race footage and acting on their own observations. Stewards couldn’t be sure that Deck Franky had contravened any rule and therefore took no further action.

2 Ava Supreme – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and lost ground.

Race 2 - HUNNY POT NQ NOVICE 380m

2 Big Ram – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. Tailed off and finished last. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into Big Ram’s racing performance. Trainer Ms Rhonda Essery advised that she hasn’t been able to gain a run for approximately three weeks and due to that factor, Big Ram was lacking race fitness. Ms Essery also advised she will consider the racing future of Big Ram after tonight’s race.

3 Hidden Torpedo – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

4 Ritza Pete – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

Race 3 - CLEVELAND BAY SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (1) 380m

5 More Sensation – Raced wide in the home straight.

7 Alert – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 4/5 GRADE HEAT 1 MIXED 4/5 380m

3 Dam Slipperiest – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

4 Caramel Queen – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn.

6 Can't Catch Her – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

9 Balt's Flying (2) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 5 - TAB 4/5 GRADE HEAT 2 MIXED 4/5 380m

1 Elusive Emma – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

2 Blackpool May – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Urana Lot – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

5 Ladies Get Grace – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

7 Showtime Hannah – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 6 - #JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING GRADE 5 498m

1 Run Over Freddy – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

2 Mali's Whitey – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Chasing Tomorrow – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off heels in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Bonnie Goes Bang – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off heels in the back straight.

Race 7 - HICKORY INDUSTRIES GRADE 3 380m

4 Swimming Home – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn. Bumped heavily with another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Panel Damage – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Bumped heavily with another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 8 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING MIXED 1/2 380m

1 Flash Fever – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the home straight.

2 What A Bomber – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer Mr Arthur Gosper advised Stewards that What A Bomber was resuming tonight from a two month injury lay off and would derive benefit and improved fitness from the run.

Race 9 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING GRADE 4 (1) 380m

2 Austin Dutton – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight.

5 No Regrets – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

6 Run Rex Run – Bumped with another runner several times in the home straight.

7 Amarillo Slim – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.
