Officials: Dr D. Viero and Dr A. Lobb (Veterinarians), A. Boyd (Judge), C. Longhurst (Starter), M. Braunberger (Samples), J. Bouffler (Lure) General: After the completion of Race 4, the lure carriage became detached from the running rail. Stewards then consulted with track maintenance staff regarding the amount of time required to rectify the issue. Stewards elected to go back two race time slots to allow sufficient time for the problem to be rectified. New race times were rescheduled as below. Race 5: 9:42 am Race 6: 9:57 am Race 7: 10:15 am Race 8: 10:30 am Race 9: 10:50 am Race 10: 11:10 am Race 11: 11:27 am Race 12: 11:42 am Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Michael Pandelakis, the handler of Lady Steps in Race 8 regarding the greyhound initially being placed in the incorrect starting box before being relocated into the correct starting box. Acting under GAR 156(f)(ii), the Stewards charged Mr Pandelakis for placing Lady Steps in the incorrect box during the boxing process, which was considered negligence. Mr Michael Pandelakis pleaded guilty to the charge. A fined of $100 was imposed.
Race 1 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA SERVICES MAIDEN 380m
1 Denim – Slow to begin.
7 Showtime Owen – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
8 Phoenix Luck – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 2 - SKIPS TRANSPORT MA5 380m
1 Frankie's Vision – Slow to begin.
6 Tackleberry – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
8 Astor – Faltered in its action shortly after the start and lost considerable ground taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off-hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
Race 3 - HUNNY POT NQ GRADE 5 (1) 380m
1 Aston General – Slow to begin. Checked off heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
3 Balts Assassin – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
6 Here's Howie – Checked off heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
8 Ouzo Herrera – Slow to begin. Checked off heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
Race 4 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE 0-4 WINS 498m
2 All Up – Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground.
5 Ponte Santangelo – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 5 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE MIXED 4/5 380m
1 New To Me – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and contacted the inside the running rail losing ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
2 Ringbark Rita – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
3 Danyo's Clint – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
4 Winter Skye – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
5 Aston Rupiah – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
Race 6 - WEE WIN KENNELS MIXED 4/5 498m
1 More Sensation – Shifted out onto the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.
3 Hidden Fury – Dragged down by another runner in the back straight and was checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
4 Trixie Rigatoni – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
5 Alert – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Improved onto the heels of another runner in the back straight and was checked.
6 Our Watto – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
7 Balt's Flying – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

5 Federal Phantom – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examiantion that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
Race 8 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS BEST 8 380m
4 See Me Balt – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
6 Petite Gingin – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.
7 Blackpool Coco – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.
8 Federal Kiwi – Faltered in its action approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground, taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the offside hock and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Federal Kiwi must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.
