General: The track was power harrowed to a depth of 50mm yesterday. As a result, race times today may be slower than normal.

Race 1 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA SERVICES MAIDEN 380m

1 No Beetroot – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

4 Warbel Harry – Slow to begin. Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn.

6 Phoenix Luck – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - SKIPS TRANSPORT NOVICE 380m

4 Lady Mulgrave – Checked off heels shortly after the start becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

6 Mister Rambutan – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Formula Ebby – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 3 - HUNNY POT NQ GRADE 5 498m

3 Sandave Richie – Commenced to weaken approaching the home turn and finished in fifth place. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Robert Lound regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Lound stated that he was happy with the performance overall with Sandave Richie chasing the leader for most of the race and only tiring over the concluding stages. Mr Lound also stated that the track is on the slow side of good and that the greyhound raced wide around the home turn. Stewards noted Mr Lound’s comments.

7 My Mate Neo – Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight.

8 Miss Von Strudel – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 4 - QGOLD HEAT 1 OPEN 380m

3 Hara's Houdini – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

Race 5 - QGOLD HEAT 2 OPEN 380m

4 Saint Remi – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

6 Petite Gingin – Weakened rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the offside hip-support and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 6 - QGOLD HEAT 3 OPEN 380m

1 Samurai Mind – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

4 Rum And Hustle – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

6 Rio Desperado – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Flash Fever - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING BEST 8 380m

1 Good Odds Rascal – Marginally slow to begin.

3 Jax The Hunter – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Balts Obsession – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Senor Yogi – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Mr Tony Parker regarding the performance of Senor Yogi which started at $1.35. Mr Parker stated that the greyhound was contacted by the runner to its outside shortly after the start and because of that failed to muster his usual early speed. Mr Parker also stated that Senor Yogi races best in front when able to lead and he also stated that the track was on the slow side of good. Stewards noted Mr T Parker’s explanation.

8 Blazing Infrared – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 8 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS FFA 498m

3 Alert – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Paw Baby – Raced wide rounding the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

6 Hidden Radar – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 No Regrets – Very slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Fancy Kelly – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Commenced to weaken in the back straight when appeared to have sustained an injury taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off-hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 28 days. Trainer Mr Bradley Belford was advised that Fancy Kelly must complete a solo trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE MIXED 3/4 380m

1 Billy Buttons – Slow to begin.

2 Blackpool Coco – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

9 New To Me (4) – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

Race 10 - AL PHANTOM (3) Bradley R Belford 4 SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE GRADE 4 380m

1 Henryk Bale – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Swimming Home – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Piper's Band – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Santa Maria – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 11 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING GRADE 5 (1) 380m

1 Can't Catch Her – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

3 Young Yank – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost further ground.

2 Fortune Of War – Shifted in the home straight and bumped with the runner to the inside. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Home Slice – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and contacted the inside running rail. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Claretown Mac – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Winlock Punky – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

7 White Venom – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 I'm A Dancer – Shifted out in the home straight.
