2 Red Ricciardo – Slow to begin.
4 Prince Ebby – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
6 Rose Target – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.
Race 3 - CLEVELAND BAY SEAFOOD MIXED 4/5 498m
3 On The Fence – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
4 Bonnie Goes Bang – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
5 Young Rob – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
6 Handy Jimmy – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
7 Winlock Punky – Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground.
Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 3/4 498m
2 Flash Fever – Firmed in the market to start at $1.75 and weakened in the concluding stages to run seventh. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Brad Belford regarding Flash Fever’s seemingly disappointing performance, particularly her run home. Mr Belford stated that the greyhound hadn’t been placed over the 498m since February and didn’t run the trip out as well as he had expected that she would. Mr Belford also stated that he didn’t support the runner in tonight’s race. Stewards noted Mr Belford’s comments.
7 Tannymorel Lass – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
8 Balts Orson – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
Race 5 - TOWNSVILLE YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 OPEN 380m
2 Spitfire Rhodes – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.
6 Lush Ice – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.
8 Bella Sensation – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

1 I'm A Dancer – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost considerable ground taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the nearside chest muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
4 Daicos Dynasty – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
6 Hidden Fury – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
