General: Stewards left the kennels open for additional 10 minutes to allow trainers Mr Peter Milani and Mr Tony Gaiardo more time to arrive on course as their respective travel times were greatly affected by a major traffic accident on the Bruce Highway north of Ingham.

Race 1 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA SERVICES MAIDEN (1) 380m

1 Aerobic Bo Bo – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

4 Shaq Owes – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

9 Wishy Washy (5) – Finished the race in last place. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Kennel representative Mrs Jo Wooler advised Stewards that it is their intention to retire the greyhound after today’s race.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN (2) 380m

1 Chilli – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

3 Ranger Beach – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn.

4 No Such Thing – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 No Beetroot – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and lost ground.

Race 3 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE NOVICE 380m

1 Showtime Bart – Bumped heavily by another runner rounding the home turn.

2 Lady Mulgrave – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Rose Target – Collided heavily with another runner rounding the home turn and was checked.

5 Showtime Pompom – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn. Severely checked approaching the home turn losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Crackin' Ethics – Severely checked approaching the home turn losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

9 Menari (4) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 4 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING MA5 380m

2 Aston Cash – Checked of the heels of another runner leaving the first turn.

6 Cairnlea Winnie – Proved difficult to load at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR106(2) placed a Box First for future race starts until Stewards are satisfied that Cairnlea Winnie is no longer hard to box. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Blackpool Coco – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

8 In The Spotlight – Slow to begin.

Race 5 - SKIPS TRANSPORT GRADE 5 (1) 380m

3 Ava Supreme – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Ouzo Herrera – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

5 Smiling Walnut – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Mulgrave Miller – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

9 More Sensation (1) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Elarbee Leo – Slow to begin.

4 Hara's Houdini – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

5 Illegal Tender – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

6 Miss Von Strudel – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

7 Waylin Bale – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

Race 7 - # JCOOL AIR CONDITIONING 0-4 WINS HEAT 2 0-4 WINS 498m

1 Bobbie Jean – Bumped by another runner in the home straight and became momentarily unbalanced.

3 Saint Remi – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Phoenix Luck – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Aurora Damiro – Marred by another runner rounding the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Dam Slipperiest – Shifted out and marred another runner rounding the home turn. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Justin Clauss regarding the racing manners of Dam Slipperiest rounding the home turn. After reviewing the video footage of the race, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR123 stood Dam Slipperiest down for marring for 28 days at Townsville plus the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Race 8 - HUNNY POT NQ MIXED 4/5 498m

4 Tap Out Mickey – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Jazz Party – Slow to begin.

7 Going To Town – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

10 Shrouded (6) – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 9 - HICKORY INDUSTRIES MIXED 3/4 380m

7 Eyes On Meg – Forced to race wide for the majority of the race.

8 Amarillo Slim – Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 10 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE GRADE 4 380m

1 Barefoot Di – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Federal Power – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Flat Tyre – Shifted out and raced wide in the home straight.

Race 11 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (2) 380m

1 Sister Emgrand – Slow to begin.

5 Drop Anchor – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Clock Watcher – Slow to begin.

Race 12 - PETER JEPSON MEDIA SERVICES GRADE 5 (3) 380m

2 Mary Now Knows – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Piper's Band – Took several awkward strides rounding the home turn and contacted the inside running rail. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

8 Shian Kelly – Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn.
