4 Devil’s Waltz – Late scratching on 03/08/2023 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE 380m

3 Currie Young Boy – Severely checked on the first turn and fell, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Kelmar Soxy – Severely checked on the first turn and fell, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6 Dream Alliance – Severely checked on the first turn. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindleg, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.

8 Aston Cash – Late scratching at 8:45am pursuant to GAR 76(2) with stewards’ permission and no stand down time issued.
