1. Columbian Diva - A post-race swab sample was taken. |

8. Pocket Banfield – Approaching the back turn was severely checked, in the home straight shifted in colliding with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

7. Shipwreck – Stewards questioned trainers representative D Eisel on the disappointing performance of Shipwreck. Mr Eisel stated the greyhound did not travel well from Brisbane to Townsville and appeared fatigued, along with the greyhound was not impressive when it trialled at the track on the previous Friday 11.8.2023. He further added they intend on giving the greyhound a two-week spell then reassessing the greyhound racing future. |
