1 Go Mary Go – Turned its head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Ms Bobbie-Jean Chaffey regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Wild William – Dragged down by another runner approaching the home turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the nearside hind toe and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
4 Tessa Poppy – Improved onto the heels of another runner in the back straight and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue 1st offence - 28 day stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
