5 Schooner Glass – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and fell, taking no further competitive part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Haytown’s Trio – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

8 Where’s Chester – Severely checked rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE (2) 380m

1 Like A Barney – (Beaten favourite) Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

6 Mercurial Dancer – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 5 - SKY RACING VERSATILITY FINAL GRADE 5 643m

7 Waylin Bale – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside hock injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.
