3 Etta – Faltered in its action rounding the first turn and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind leg, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |

6 Stressful Day – Late scratching on 08/09 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
8 Currie Young Boy – (Beaten favourite) Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner in the back straight and approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Mr. G. Pickard regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Pickard stated that he was confident heading into today’s event and was disappointed with the overall performance, also stating that not being able to cross the runner to the inside impacted the greyhounds’ chances of obtaining free running and negatively contributed to the performance. Mr. Pickard advised Stewards that he did not support the greyhound in wagering.
