1 Rev On Grubby – Checked shortly after the start and lost ground. Severely checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and became unbalanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
4 Lady Mulgrave – Tightened for running room rounding the first turn and was checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
7 Moonlit Lake – Fell in the catching pen after the event had concluded. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Sir Bingo – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn. Checked exiting the first turn, taking the turn extremely wide. Raced wide throughout the back straight. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Mr. C. Scifleet regarding the racing performance of Sir Bingo. Mr Scifleet stated that it was the greyhounds second race start at the track and may prefer an outside box as the greyhound ran extremely wide rounding the first turn. Mr Scifleet advised that he will contact Stewards should any abnormalities become apparent in the coming days which may have affected the greyhounds performance and will provide further consideration to starting the greyhound at Townsville on 31/10/2023. Stewards declined to take any further action.
