General: Stewards inspected the track after the running of Race 3 after a light globe had blown in one of the towers, just after the first turn. Stewards inspected the section of the track that was affected and consulted with the lure driver and track curator and believed that the blown light had minimal effect on the overall lighting to the racing surface and deemed it safe to continue racing. |

1 Trace Element – Very slow to begin. Made heavy contact with the inside running rail when rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

9 Petite Gingin – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

Race 6 - PREH WE WIN RACING BEST 8 380m |

2 Senor Yogi – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a mild case of the thumps. No stand down time was given by the on-course veterinarian. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Tony Parker regarding Senor Yogi’s below market performance. Mr Parker is at a loss to explain the greyhound’s run tonight as well as his recent form over the last month. Mr Parker stated that the greyhound is fit and in good racing condition. Mr Parker will obtain blood tests with his off-course veterinarian and report back to Stewards any abnormalities. Stewards noted Mr Parker’s comments. |

5 Plum Tuckered – Checked rounding the turn off the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
6 Lagon Camile – Checked rounding the turn off the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
8 Phoenix Luck – Faltered in its action shortly after the start and took no further competitive part in the race, failing to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hock injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel. |
