8 Come On Darcy – (Beaten favourite) Bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 3 - SHELLY DENNIS MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 380m |

4 Federal Mercedes – Tightened for racing room and was checked entering the first turn and lost considerable ground, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. B. Belford regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory Performance and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Lady Mulgrave – Tightened for racing room in the back straight and was checked, becoming momentarily unbalanced. Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and became unbalanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
6 Bohdi – Tightened for racing room in the back straight and was checked, becoming momentarily unbalanced. Checked by another runner entering the home turn and became unbalanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |

3 Danyo’s Clint – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind foot, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
8 Barefoot Di – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

1 Gatting Ball – (Beaten favourite) A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Mr G. Pickard regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Pickard stated that he did not believe the inside box draw to be beneficial to the greyhounds winning chances and after reviewing the available footage, Mr Pickard further stated that he was disappointed in the greyhound’s performance and believes a minor injury may be present and will report to the Stewards in the coming days should anything come to light which may have impacted the performance today. Mr Pickard advised that he did not support the greyhound in wagering.
