Race 1 - WOOLER RACING MAIDEN (1) 380m

 

5 Panadom – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

6 Duke Of Burdell – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 Teacher’s West – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside shoulder and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 2 - BROOK HEATH MAIDEN (2) 380m

 

6 What Style – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed an injury to the off-fore triceps muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 3 - KB SEAFOOD COMPANY MAIDEN (3) 380m

Race 4 - V & M DRILLING NOVICE (1) 380m

 

5 Call Me Alice – Checked off heels shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside back muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE (2) 380m

Race 6 - PREH WE WIN RACING GRADE 5 498m

 

1 Dave Ricciardo – (Beaten favourite) Very slow begin. Checked off heels rounding the first turn.

 

Race 7 - JEFF LYNCH MIXED 4/5 498m

 

3 Rojo Henry – Checked off heels rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 8 - NORTH QUEENSLAND CUP (L) FINAL OPEN 498m

 

8 Currie Young Boy – Faltered in its action shortly after the start and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

Race 9 - PUG WASH PAINTING BEST 8 380m

 

6 Gunnadoo Avenue – Faltered in its action approaching the home turn and lost ground when appeared to have sustained an injury finishing the race tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off-fore triceps muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 10 - HEATH ARDLE GRADE 4 380m
