Race 4 - COREY HEATH BEST 8 380m

 

1 Plum Tuckered – (Beaten favourite) Raced in restricted room approaching the first turn and was clipped on the heels by another runner and lost ground.

 

 

Race 5 - PUG WASH PAINTING NOVICE 380m

 

5 Party at Harpers – (Beaten favourite) Bumped with another runner in the back straight. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn.

 

 

Race 6 - KB SEAFOOD COMPANY GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

2 Mandanda – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and became extremely unbalanced and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

6 Colac Keith – Dragged down by another runner rounding the home turn. Dragged down by another runner on entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. 

 

 

Race 7 - V & M DRILLING 0-4 WINS FINAL 0-4 WINS 498m

 

7 Cool Bananas – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin. Checked off another runner shortly after the start.

 

 

Race 8 - PREH WE WIN RACING GRADE 5 498m

 

7 Wild Rumour – Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. M. Pandelakis regarding the improved performance of Wild Rumour. Mr. Pandelakis stated that giving the greyhound a spell prior to today’s event and competing in 5th grade contributed to the greyhounds’ winning chances. Mr Pandelakis further stated that the greyhound benefits from leading which was how she raced today. Mr. Pandelakis advised that connections did support the greyhound in wagering although he didn’t. Stewards noted the explanation.

 

9 Chasing Cars (6) – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the nearside fore foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 9 - PREH WE WIN RACING GRADE 5 498m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 10 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 4 380m

 

8 Yellow Car – Stewards spoke to trainer Ms R. Essery regarding the improved performance of Yellow Car. Ms. Essery stated that the drop in grade improved the greyhounds winning chances along with the outside box draw which she believes suits the greyhound. Stewards noted the explanation.

 

 

Race 11 - WOOLER RACING MIXED 4/5 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 12 - TAB GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

5 Pistols At Dawn – Contacted the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
