6 I’m A Neo – Faltered in its action approaching the home turn and lost ground quickly, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hock injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.

Race 6 - ANNIVERSARY CUP HEAT 2 MIXED 4/5 498m

2 Shouting Gunn – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin. Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
