7 Shirl’s Memory – Dragged down by another runner exiting the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

3 Trip’s Memory – Severely checked and lost ground rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
4 Painter Dave – Severely checked and lost ground rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - KB SEAFOOD COMPANY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 380m |
|
1 Hara’s Mickey – (Beaten favourite) Checked rounding the first turn and lost ground.
2 Pacific Storm – Severely checked by another runner rounding the first turn, became extremely unbalanced and heavily contacted the outside rail safety padding. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
3 Granville – Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. M. Hickmott regarding the improved performance of Granville, Mr. Hickmott stated that Granville appreciated the inside box draw and jumped well today, further starting that the greyhound was able to avoid the severe interference that affected other runners when leading the field around the first turn. Mr. Hickmott added that today’s race time is only a minor improvement on the greyhound’s previous form. Stewards noted the explanation.

4 Fire Up Tina – Late scratching at 7:10am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

3 Danyo’s Clint – Contacted the catching pen gate after the event had concluded. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
6 Petite Gingin – Faltered in its action approaching the first turn when in clear running and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside triceps, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days. Trainer Mr. T. Parker stated that it is his intention to retire Petite Gingin.

2 Spike The Punch – Faltered in its action in the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hamstring, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days. |
