Race 4 - V & M DRILLING MIXED 1/2 380m

3 Sandave Richie – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (1) 498m

4 Mali’s Red Hot – Commenced to weaken shortly after entering the back straight finishing the race tailed off in last place. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off-hind quadriceps and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 6 - PREH WE WIN RACING GRADE 5 (2) 498m

7 Penguin Doug – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground. Checked off heels approaching the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - SHELLY DENNIS GRADE 4 (1) 380m

8 Stripey Two – (Beaten favourite) Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 8 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES MIXED 2/3 380m

1 Lush Ice – Slow to begin. Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Sister Emgrand – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - HEATH ARDLE GRADE 5 (1) 380m

1 Frank The Tank – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Showtime Isaac – (Beaten favourite) Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - PUG WASH PAINTING GRADE 4 (2) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 11 - TAB GRADE 5 (2) 380m

3 Starlight Belle – Commenced to weaken in the back straight and lost ground, finishing the race tailed off in last place. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer Mr Clarry Wilcox will report back to Stewards any abnormalities with the greyhound over the next few days should any arise.
