Race 2 - BROOK HEATH MAIDEN (2) 380m

1 Beijing Ling – (Beaten favourite) Checked rounding the first turn losing forward momentum.

Race 3 - KB SEAFOOD COMPANY NOVICE 380m

2 Run Millie Run – Turned in the boxes at the start of the race, taking no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr Chris Scifleet regarding the box manners of Run Millie Run. After reviewing the footage, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(1) ordered that the greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to any future nomination being accepted.

Race 6 - COUNTRY CUP HEAT 1 OPEN 498m

Race 7 - COUNTRY CUP HEAT 2 OPEN 498m

7 Sir Bingo – Commenced to weaken in the back straight and lost ground finishing the race tailed off in last place. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer Mr Robert Lound will report back to Stewards any abnormalities over the next few days with the greyhound should any arise.

Race 8 - COUNTRY CUP HEAT 3 OPEN 498m

Race 9 - PREH WE WIN RACING GRADE 4 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 10 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES MIXED 4/5 380m

2 Claretown Mac – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and fell taking no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 11 - PUG WASH PAINTING GRADE 5 (1) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 12 - HEATH ARDLE GRADE 5 (2) 380m

5 Candlestick Jack – Commenced to weaken rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground finishing the race tailed off in last place. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
