General: Stewards delayed the All Clear of Race 10 to review the start of the race due to a cane toad jumping across the starting mat shortly after the green light had been activated. After reviewing all available footage and acting under their own observations, Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no runner had been materially affected and therefore declared All Clear on the judge’s semaphored numbers.

5 Spin Baron – Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Michael Hickmott regarding the greyhound’s seemingly improved performance tonight. Mr Hickmott stated that the greyhound recently underwent minor surgery over a month ago and since the surgery has continued to improve his racing times. Mr Hickmott also stated that racing on a firmer surface and jumping well both attributed to tonight’s winning performance. Mr Hickmott further stated that he did support the greyhound in the event. Stewards noted the explanation. |

1 Jimmy Roo – (Beaten favourite) Checked off heels leaving the first turn. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.
8 Blazing Infrared – A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the off-hind toe and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |

2 Aston Jacinta – Checked off the heels of another runner in the home straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

1 Molly Emgrand – Late scratching at 5:17pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness. The greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
3 Maddie Dutton – Slow to begin. Clipped on the heels by another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground. Finished the race tailed off last. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near hindleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |

Stewards delayed the All Clear to review the start of the race due to a cane toad jumping across the starting mat shortly after the green light had been activated.
