Race 3 - KB SEAFOOD COMPANY GRADE 5 (1) 498m

2 Bless Her – Severely checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 4 - SIMLEC ELECTRICAL GRADE 5 (2) 498m

1 Maddie Dutton – Faltered in its action in the back straight and lost considerable ground failing to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a strained neck muscle and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 8 - TOWNSVILLE YOUNG GUNS FINAL OPEN 380m

7 Four Rangers – Severely checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the head and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

8 Showtime Isaac – Severely checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - ALL RUMOUR KENNELS GRADE 4 (1) 380m

2 Here Wolfe – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Showtime Imogen – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - B & M DRILLING GRADE 4 (2) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 11 - LOUISE PARTLAND PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 (2) 380m

3 Special Herbs – Checked and forced to race wide rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. Finished the race tailed off in last place. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Greta Thomson about Special Herbs performance. Ms Thomson stated that the greyhound was having its first run in 3 months and first run at the track. Ms Thomson further stated that she will give Special Herbs a thorough examination tomorrow and report back to Stewards any abnormalities should any arise. Stewards noted the comments.

Race 12 – TGBOATA GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Canya Slider – Checked off the heels of another runner and contacted the inside running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
