After the boxes failed to open, all greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes and underwent a pre-race veterinary examination. All runners were subsequently passed fit to start. The boxes were then tested under race conditions before the starting signal was given again.
4 No Such Thing – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer which revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

2 Underbelly Miss – Checked and lost ground leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no abnormalities.
3 Stripey Two – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer revealing a nearside hind toenail injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days. |

6 High Powered – Checked suddenly and lost ground entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no abnormalities. |

3 Good Odds Viking – Faltered in its action in the back straight losing considerable ground. Took several awkward strides rounding the home turn and, in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination revealing an injury to the nearside hamstrings and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |
