6 Ricolina Jam – Fell after passing the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.
8 Judy Ann – Eased approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle, under the provision of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. H. Wooler regarding the racing manners of Judy Ann. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Herbie Jenkins – Fell rounding the first turn, took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
6 Shaq Owes – Shortened stride and eased entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. B. Chaffey regarding the racing manners of Shaq Owes. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Ms Chaffey stated that it is her intention to retire Shaq Owes.
7 Showtime Cher – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside stopper, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
