1 Sippy Cup Emu - Late scratching at 06:08pm due to a weight variation (-2.5kg) and pursuant to GAR 101(3)(a) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Michael Pandelakis regarding Sippy Cup Emu’s significant change in weight and after considering his explanation Stewards issued a fine of $100 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b). Additionally, Stewards took into consideration Mr Pandelakis’ good record, having not offended under this rule since 2016, and pursuant to GAR 174(3) ordered the fine to be wholly suspended for a period of 12 months pending no further breach of this or a similar rule. |
