1 Jed The Turtle – Eased for several strides rounding the home turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. H. Ardle regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
4 Hara’s Autumn – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a split webbing on the right hind, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
5 Cash Pirate – Checked and fell rounding the home turn. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Vulcan Baru – Made contact with the catching pen gate at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m |

4 Baroski – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event and failed to finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
7 Stripey Two – Faltered in its action after being checked rounding the first turn. Lost ground and took no further competitive part in the event. Failed to finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
