7 Tony Rocket – stewards spoke to trainer Joan Newnham regarding the failure for a catcher to be present at the catching pen. After considering all available evidence the stewards imposed a $100 under the provision of GAR 99. Stewards, having also considered Ms Newnham’s personal circumstances, further ordered the fine be wholly suspended for a period of 12 months pending no further breaches of this rule - GAR 174(2)(3). |
