Race 7 - NQ MARINA SEAFOOD 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

8 Turbo Tommy – Checked on several occasions exiting the first turn and rounding the home turn, losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injuries to the right hip support and to the left front toe, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

Race 8 - I.M.S ELECTRICAL 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

Race 9 - CORAL COAST SEAFOODS - CAIRNS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

2 Athletic Lana – Severely checked and lost considerable ground rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

4 Nanai – Faltered in its action entering the first turn and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injuries to the left elbow and left pencil muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

7 Migraine – Checked and fell in the back straight. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

Race 10 - COREY HEATH 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 380m

3 Same But Not – (Beaten favourite) Bumped shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner entering the first turn. Rounded the home turn extremely wide.

Race 11 - TGBOTA 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 380m

Race 12 - JUSTIN REID 5TH GRADE HEAT 6 GRADE 5 380m

6 Hopefully Fast – Late scratching on 17/10/2024 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards have received a veterinary certificate.
