General: Following an incident in the catching pen at the conclusion of race 6, Stewards ordered that Fingal Bay wear an aggression muzzle in all future events and for trainer Mr. C. Wilcox to have an additional catcher for the greyhound. |

1 Aviator – Declared a late scratching at 10:40am due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Trainer Mr. D. Taylor was fined the sum of $250 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).
5 Hara’s Holly – (Beaten favourite) Forced wide in the back straight. Raced wide rounding the first turn and home turn. Hampered by another runner on entering the home straight.

2 Velocity Jelissa – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Failed to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right wrist and the greyhound was subsequently humanely euthanised.
5 Cleo Blazer – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Free At Night – Shortened stride in the back straight. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left gluteal muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood for 7 days.
7 Mister Rambutan – Late scratching at 8:31am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
