Race 1 - DREW WOOLDER MAIDEN 380m |
|
1 Swing On By – Late scratching at 9:53am on 19/12/2024 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.
6 Tilly’s Rocket – Gave ground from the turn off the back straight. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed heavy bruising on right hindleg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

9 Stilton Molly (2) – Eased for several strides when racing through the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. M. Partland regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury – 3 day stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 Instant Gold – Gave ground from the turn off the back straight. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left elbow, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days. Trainer Mr. M. Hickmott advised Stewards that it is his intention to retire Instant Gold. |

1 Federal Mickey – Severely checked and fell rounding the first turn. Took no further competitive part. A post-race veterinary examination report revealed an injury to the right shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.
3 Lucky Llama – Made contact with the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.
