5. Timma Turtle Two – In the front straight deviated attention away from the lure towards a runner on the outside and shifted wider but did not make muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Greta Thomsen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury a day stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
