1.Penny Girl – Checked entering the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside pad abrasion with no stand down. |

7. Woodland Oscar – Eased in the front straight and deviated its attention towards a runner on the outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a bicep muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Miss Hayley Wooler regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury a 5 day stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

3. Big Brain – Checked and faulted in its actions on the first turn and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside leg injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next. |

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing. |

1. Anna Rumble – Checked and fell heavily soon after the start before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |

5.Tangelo Tornado – Eased in its stride entering the back straight. Shifted out and deviated attention towards runner on the outside but did not make muzzle contact in the back straight. Steward’s spoke to trainer Tony Parker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue 2nd offence – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

7. Hidden Radar – Collided with fallen runner and fell heavily soon after the start before regaining footing and completed the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside back muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. |
