7 Canya Revamp – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the right foreleg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

7 Non Stop Tommy – (Beaten favourite) Checked shortly after the start. Checked across heels in the back straight. Checked off heels entering the first turn. Checked and became unbalanced exiting the first turn.

5 Matriarch Shell – A pre-race sample was obtained.
7 Just A Neo – Appeared to ease when racing through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Ms. Greta Thomson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failure to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Imprisonment – (Beaten favourite) Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Steven Scott regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Scott stated that he wasn’t entirely disappointed with the run however felt the greyhound could have performed better, attributing the performance to the slower racing surface, further stating he did not support the greyhound in wagering. Stewards noted the explanation.
