Race 1 - I.M.S ELECTRICAL MAIDEN (1) 380m

3 Tobias Ivy – Appeared to turn its head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Ms. B. Chaffey regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failure to pursue (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Ant Music – Bumped in the back straight. Conceded ground sharply and pulled up in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. M. Partland regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failure to pursue (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - CHEAPA AUTO SPARES MAIDEN (2) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 3 - CHRIS SCIFLEET MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 380m

3 Freddy Dodge – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Arka Chief – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 White Cockatoo – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a left hind toe, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

Race 4 - COREY HEATH NOVICE 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 5 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING NOV/M 498m

1 Pierre D’Arcy – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room entering the second turn and was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the left hindleg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. H. Wooler regarding the greyhound actions rounding the second turn. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

2 Whitney Girl – Late scratching on 27/02/2025 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 5 (1) 380m

7 Angelic Zaphera – Eased and ran wide when exiting the first turn and rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. D. Preh regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failure to pursue by reason of injury – 10 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Mr Preh stated that it is his intention to retire Angelic Zaphera.

Race 7 - T.G.B.O.T.A GRADE 5 (2) 380m

4 Yellow Car – Bumped and conceded ground rounding the first turn. Steward’s spoke to trainer Ms. R. Essery regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failure to pursue (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. Ms. Essery stated it is her intention to retire Yellow Car.

5 Stormy Rose – A pre-race sample was obtained.

Race 8 - PREH WE WIN RACING PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 9 - PARKSIDE MEATS GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Sasha The Dasher – Checked exiting the first turn and lost ground sharply. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hip support, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

2 Colac Keith – Severely checked rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Rock Balboa – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - NQ MARINA SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (4) 380m

7 Migraine – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right elbow, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.

Race 11 - STARLINE EXPRESS AT STUD GRADE 5 (5) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 12 - PATRICIA GROVES MA5 380m
