GENERAL

Prior to the race meeting, stewards, a delegation of trainers and jockeys conducted an inspection at the 1200m shoot regarding the surface leading from the barriers onto the course proper. After deliberating, stewards, club officials, trainers and jockeys were satisfied the surface was safe for racing.
